Welcome to Hogg’s Automotive Training Academy! We offer programs with intense automotive training, encourage the individual to continue in automotive education, and provide on the job learning.

Automotive Training

At Dallas, Texas our students can get hands-on experience in our Automotive program, as they learn to diagnose, maintain, and repair cars. We will let our students work from simple engine systems to power and performance machines as they move through the training. After 11-weeks they will be fully trained like a true automotive professional.

Life Skills

We offer short-term Pre-Apprenticeship program with intense basic automotive training, includes basic computer and Life Skills classes. The academy offers a certificate program designed to meet the specific needs of the formerly incarcerated, individuals with disabilities & at-risk youth. We design our automotive curriculum that is gear toward developing students’ self-esteem, level of work performance and morals.

Job Placement

Hogg’s Automotive Apprenticeship Program is a Sponsor through the Department of Labor 2 year program, established to help those wanting to continue in automotive education and experience. Apprentice will earn credit toward profession certifications gain industry-related experience and prepare yourself for an in-demand career that fits your passion and provides them with a job.

Welcome to the home of Hogg’s Automotive Training Academy in Dallas, Texas. We are not an ordinary vocational institute, providing instruction to at-risk youths as well as disabled and formerly incarcerated individuals. We do so in the hope that they will graduate from our school with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide for themselves and their loved ones. In addition to various Life Skills Classes and High School Diploma taught here, there are Pre-Apprenticeship programs available that provide an intense, 11-week training period that covers everything from basic engine diagnostics to basic auto transmission work. Students must be evaluated and approved for this program and must submit to a drug test in order to participate. We also offer a 2-year, Registered Apprentice Program where applicants receive training in all aspects of auto repair before being certified upon graduation by both the Department of Labor and Hogg’s Automotive Training Academy, Inc.
